Solutions Engineering provides engineering and technician based field services, on-site and remotely, for Industrial Controls and Industrial Communication Networks. Our E&T field services include, but are not limited to, system & plant commissioning and start-ups, trouble shooting, retrofits and calibration. Additional services include Industrial Ethernet & Fiber Optics network communication installation, troubleshooting, upgrades and retrofits. Solutions Engineering can provide OEM support when the OEM cannot support customer timeframe and other needs for start-up or troubleshooting.

Remote Access to PLC for Remote Monitoring & Program Modification:

As a very desirable service, Solutions Engineering can establish remote Ethernet, or other communication protocols, access to the control system PLC-MCC-HMI in order to allow a programmer/engineer to be physically at the plant. A simple telephone call or email from our customer operator or manager and Solutions Engineering can be online with the control system and simultaneously work with operations to monitor and/or modify the control system program and work out issues that may occur, 24/7. This extremely desirable option has been utilized by our customers for convenience and cost reduction. When you compare a four (4) hour minimum and travel expenses charge for a programming technician to travel to and be at the jobsite in order to go online with a control system for monitoring and/or program modifications versus a one (1) hour minimum charge for a programming technician utilizing remote online communication access to do the same tasks, it's easy to see how quickly the savings add up.
